A Night to Remember as 2023 Ehime Mbano World Congress Convention Reignites the Spirit of Unity

In a heartwarming reunion, the 26th National Convention of the Ehime Mbano World Congress (EMWC) held on September 2nd, 2023, in Houston, United States. This exceptional event was a splendid celebration, graced by esteemed dignitaries, supporters, and EMWC executives.


Chukwu Peter Ndubuisi, the President of the organization, delivered an emotionally charged presidential address at the heart of this reunion, expressing deep gratitude to all the attendees who gathered to commemorate this momentous occasion.

 
President Ndubuisi vividly depicted the challenging three-year hiatus imposed by the relentless grip of COVID-19, underlining the remarkable hurdles the EMWC had to surmount to bring this event to fruition.

 
Reflecting on the origins of the EMWC, President Ndubuisi underscored the noble aspirations of its founders, who were students pursuing higher education when they envisioned a platform to unite Ehime citizens residing in the US and Canada. Their enduring vision aimed to harness collective goodwill and efforts, a vision that continues to thrive today.

  
The convention saw an illustrious assembly of dignitaries and devoted supporters, including notable figures such as Dr. Mrs. Pauline Igwe (Power House), Lady Regina Onyeji Omereoh, Dr. Pst. Phill Ehirim, Prince Jeo Nduka, Ben Iwuchukwu, Lady Chioma Levis, Chief Ugo Mayor, and United Sister African Restaurant.

   
Also in attendance were Chief Hyacinth and Atty. Theresa Omeludike, Lady Mercy Eneh, Dr. Oluchi Ohanaka (Ashford Pharmacy), Hon. Chris & Mrs. Okeagu (Agbara Ehime), TEXAS African Grocery Store, Ms. Davina Godfrey, Sgt. Humphrey Okele, Atty. Pauline Chinyere, and Chief Ike, as well as Mr. and Mrs. Michael Nwadinobi and Chief and lolo Ray Okonkwo (TPM).

   
Adding a touch of royalty to the event was the presence of the Royal Father of the Day, HRM Eze Emmanuel N Ebechi, Akagu 1 of Umuakagu Community in Ehime Mbano, who traveled from Nigeria to attend.


The distinguished guest list further included Chief Sir Frank Ekeigwe (Ekeheaven), ISCA President, Imo state Congress of America, and Chief/Sir John Nwachukwu anatutu Aku 1.

 
The foundation of EMWC’s success firmly rests upon its dedicated leadership, including Chief Peter Chukwu as President, Mazi Godfrey Sleek Emeribe as Vice President, and Chief Sir Nathan Iwuagwu as Secretary. Additional key figures include Lady Doris Ebo as Treasurer, Sir Jacob Charles Obi Ukaegbu as Financial Secretary, and Chief Thaddeus Okoro as Chief Whip.
